Launched in 2020, the Tiburon Explorer is a modern, purpose-built liveaboard yacht offering unforgettable dive experiences in the Galápagos Islands. Designed by divers for divers, this vessel combines comfort, functionality, and top-tier service for an exceptional underwater adventure.
The Tiburon Explorer was engineered with serious diving in mind. Its spacious dive deck includes individual gear bins, rinse tanks for underwater cameras, and both air and nitrox filling stations to support extended dive activity. Whether you are bringing your own gear or renting, everything has been arranged to make your diving smooth, efficient, and safe.
Accommodating up to 16 guests, the yacht features 9 air-conditioned cabins spread between the lower and main decks. Each cabin includes either a queen or twin beds, private bathroom with hot water, and convenient storage space. Cabins on the main deck offer large ocean-view windows, flooding the space with natural light and offering scenic views of the islands.
When you are not diving, enjoy the inviting indoor lounge with TV, comfortable furnishings, and a dining area where a selection of international meals is served. On the upper deck, relax between dives on the sun deck or unwind in the jacuzzi while taking in the spectacular island views.

The Galapagos Islands, located 1,000 km off mainland Ecuador, are world-renowned for their unique biodiversity. Shaped by isolation, converging ocean currents, and volcanic activity, the archipelago offers some of the most extraordinary diving experiences on the planet.
Day 1 – Baltra:
Arrival from mainland Ecuador. Meet the dive guides at the airport, board the vessel, enjoy lunch, set up gear, and attend safety briefing.
Day 2 – North Baltra:
2 check-out dives (7:00 and 10:00 AM), spotting rays and schools of fish.
Afternoon land visit to North Seymour Island to observe blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, sea lions, and marine iguanas.
Overnight navigation to Cabo Douglas.
Day 3 – Cabo Douglas & Punta Vicente Roca:
1–2 dives at Cabo Douglas (marine iguanas).
1–2 dives at Punta Vicente Roca (mola mola, turtles, macro life).
Overnight transit to Wolf Island.
Day 4 – Wolf Island:
4 dives (6:30, 10:30, 14:00, 16:30) with likely sightings of schooling hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, whale sharks (in season), and eagle rays.
Day 5 – Darwin Island:
4 dives with similar sightings as Wolf Island.
Evening navigation back to Wolf.
Day 6 – Wolf Island:
3 dives (6:30, 10:30, 13:00).
Long transit to Cousin’s Rock.
Day 7 – Cousin’s Rock & Santa Cruz Highlands:
2 early morning dives (6:30 and 9:30), excellent for macro life: seahorses, eagle rays, sea lions.
Afternoon visit to Santa Cruz Highlands to see giant tortoises in the wild.
Dinner on your own in Puerto Ayora, return to boat by 8:30 PM.
Day 8 – Baltra:
Disembarkation at 9:00 AM and transfer to the airport.
Note:
The last dive takes place on Day 7. Divers are advised to wait 24 hours before flying.
